The Sign * What Is It

Urizen The word punctum

Thinking Tiller became the infinite, that which is kind
in devouring flame, and the man running away from his face, went into hiding in the woods at night, as the eternal forests were divided into land turned in circles space, as the sea flowed and flooded everything except this finite wall of flesh. Anguiforme
So the temple was created, the infinite image
contained in finite rotations, and the man became an Angel;
Heaven in a huge circle spinning, God, a tyrant crowned.

Thought chang'd the infinite to a serpent; That Which pitieth
To a devouring flame, and man Fled from its face and hid In
forest of night, Then all the eternal forest
Were Divided Into earths rolling in circles of space, like an ocean That rush'd
Overwhelmed And all except this finite wall of flesh. Then
Was the serpent temple form'd, image of infinite
Shut up in finite revolutions, and man Became an Angel, Heaven
a mighty circle turning; God a tyrant crown'd.
